One of our strengths is the diversity of design experiences in our leaders. NCC 2019 Section J – Opportunities and Challenges<\/span><\/h5>\n
This seminar explores in-depth the changes to the Energy Efficiency requirements of the new NCC 2019 (Section J) from both an architectural and engineering perspective.\u00a0 Gain insights on the real impacts to building design from the new requirements and how these can be used to improve the performance of your designs whilst offering your clients value and savings.\u00a0 SEED Engineers is a local Brisbane based engineering company who specialises in sustainable approaches to building design and provides services in mechanical, electrical, fire, hydraulics and sustainability.<\/span><\/div>\n

Jay Dee Dearness is a WELL Accredited Professional and Designer with 18 years\u2019 experience in the design and construction industry spanning architecture, interiors, landscape design and public art.\u00a0 She is a WELL AP, WELL Faculty and WELL Community concept advisor. As a Sustainability Leader at SEED, Jay Dee is committed to improving human health and wellness within the built environment using her professional training and expertise in community engagement through standards such as WELL, Green Star, the Living Building Challenge and the principles of Biophilia. Her <\/span>design experience has seen her work across the full spectrum of design practice, handling projects ranging from industrial, commercial, residential, resort, streetscape renewal, public facilities and urban art.<\/span><\/div>\n

Carl McLean has been working as a mechanical engineer with SEED and has dealt mostly with contractors. He specialises in Energy and CFD modelling for commercial and retail applications by working with the HVAC design team to verify performance of green and cost saving systems.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>
